Tenant Participation Support

We can provide a dedicated tenant participation officer to work within your organisation permanently or for a specified time. This could be for a few hours a week or on a fulltime basis.

We currently provide TP officers in two organisations: Hebridean Housing Partnership and Stirling Council.

Housing Professional Support

We also provide one to one development sessions for staff and TP officers and training and support to help keep tenant participation officers up to date on key policies and share good practice.

We host monthly support sessions for staff via webinars and we also have a workspace site for officers to keep in touch?

We hold our brilliant Annual Housing Professional Conference to deliver essential training, highlight best practice and build a supportive network for all staff involved in the variety of activities that make up tenant participation.

We offer an annual calendar of online and face to face training for staff.

For TPAS members we offer a free enquiry services that allows members to easily gathering ideas, experiences and share good practice.

We provide free online “Hints and Tips” that answer common questions.

Learning skills and building knowledge

We offer general learning opportunities and can provide specific dedicated training for you, for example:

• Team working and operating as a group – constitutions, minutes, code of conduct, etc.
• Housing law, policy, and practice
• Planning and undertaking consultation activities
• Communications

We can tailor sessions to newcomers, experienced and expert audiences of community members, staff or governing body members.
