The FIRST 21 candidates awarded with their TPAS and Open College Network Northern Ireland Tenant Participation Certificate Award

We are delighted to announce that the first 21 people have successfully completed and passed their Tenant Participation Certificate Award; a first in Scotland.

Launched in March 2021, the course is aimed at tenants, housing professional staff or anyone wanting to gain knowledge and understanding of tenant participation and community development in Scotland.  It can also be used as a stepping stone to assist landlords towards achieving the TPAS Scotland Accreditation. Clare Talbot of Abertay Housing Association said, “I really enjoyed the course, I found it thought provoking regarding my role in TP; exploring topics in more depth, on the flip side of this, it also enabled me to recognise some of the good practice and plans we have going forward within the Association.  The workload was manageable, and the deadlines were achievable with great online support too.”
