This year’s AGM is just around the corner, and we are delighted to have Jimmy Black and Kieran Findlay joining us to record a Scottish Housing News Podcast debating the topic of ‘What are the benefits of Community Involvement?”
As we all know the community is at the core of every housing provider. But we need to understand what needs to change to motivate individuals to become involved in groups, forums, committees, Boards etc and ensure tenants always have a voice in decisions to influence how their rent money is invested in local homes and communities.

Kieran Findlay is the editor of Scottish Housing News. Having joined the company in 2006 as a fresh graduate from the University of Dundee, he is today one of Scotland’s most experienced housing journalists.
Jimmy Black is a former housing convenor and campaigner who contributes regular opinion pieces and Housing Champions articles to Scottish Housing News and is co-host of The Scottish Housing News Podcast. Jimmy also chairs the board of Angus Housing Association.
