Join TPAS Scotland at our special 45th anniversary conference, sponsored by ng homes, which is taking place from 20–22 June at the Golden Jubilee Hotel, Clydebank.

While we’ll be reflecting on the past 45 years of tenant participation, we’ll be focusing on the current – and future – issues that matter to social housing staff and tenants.

During the day, you’ll hear from expert speakers on the latest developments in tenant participation and engagement, take part in interactive workshops and activities, and meet tenants and housing staff from across Scotland. After conference sessions close, you’ll enjoy two nights of entertainment.

Event highlights

Day one - Friday 20 June

We’re pleased to announce that Minister for Housing Paul McLennan MSP will open this year’s TPAS Scotland annual conference by delivering an address to delegates.

The Minister’s address will be followed by a session by former Link Group Chief Executive, Craig Sanderson. Craig will be reflecting on the past 45 years of tenant participation and the social housing sector as well as looking at current challenges and opportunities and how to be prepared for the future.

In the evening, we’ll be celebrating outstanding achievements in tenant participation as we host TPAS Scotland’s National Good Practice Awards and dinner. The awards will be presented by comedian Fred MacAulay and will be followed by entertainment.

Day two of our conference opens with neurodiversity coach and trainer Aileen Carson delivering a keynote session on what has changed in the last 45 years in relation to neurodiversity. There are also interactive workshop sessions, including armchair yoga, a Taiko drumming taster session with Nemo Arts, and a fun ‘back to the ‘80s’ drama and music session with Naomi Breeze, Artistic Director of Breeze Productions.

On Saturday evening, it’s time to party, and we’re heading back to 1980. You are invited to celebrate with us at our 45th birthday party which includes an anniversary drinks reception, dinner and 80s themed entertainment – 80s fancy dress is optional.
