Money Worries and Mental Health Workshop

We’ve all been there; not enough money to pay the bills or pay for our weekly shop, which can lead to stress and affect our mental health.  And when our mental health is bad, we may not be able to manage our finances.

Increasing cost-of-living pressures can lead to more financial stress, so knowing ways to look after your mental health when dealing with money problems is more important than ever.

Emma Straughan from SAMH will present a workshop at this year’s TPAS Annual conference where she will explore financial anxiety, it’s signs and symptoms as well as a look at the vicious cycle between money worries and mental ill health.

The session will look at self-care techniques and solutions for financial anxiety and highlight further sources of support.

Make sure you have booked your ticket for this year’s TPAS Annual Conference to hear from Emma around looking after your mental health. Tickets can be purchased by emailing elaine.scoular@tpasscotland.org.uk  More information on the conference and other speakers can be found here.
