As tenant participation officer for the Western Isles, I work closely with tenants and TPAS staff to create a positive influence and improvements to the way services are delivered through their experiences. I actively encourage tenants to get involved in the tenant participation process to generate positive change within the housing communities on the island.

Having lived in social housing on the Western Isles all my life, I am passionate about community engagement.

Tenants Participation to me is the opportunity for tenant voices to be heard through communication, consultation and participation. This includes the sharing of ideas to empower tenants to enhance and improve existing H.H.P Housing policy and build on the achievements already made through tenant participation.
