TPAS Scotland National Good Practice Awards 2026 now open
TPAS Scotland has opened entries for its 2026 National Good Practice Awards, celebrating excellence in tenant participation, community engagement and social housing across Scotland. The awards recognise the achievements of tenants, community groups and landlords who are making a positive impact in shaping services and strengthening communities.
This year features 10 award categories, including three new additions for 2026: Young Person in Tenant Participation, Tenant Participation Officer of the Year, and Creativity in Tenant Participation. Categories cover areas such as tenant communication, widening participation, environmental action, tenant group achievement and outstanding individual contribution.
Entries are open to social housing tenants, community groups and landlords from across Scotland. Winners will be announced at our Annual Conference on 17 June at the Golden Jubilee Hotel, Clydebank. The deadline for entries is Tuesday 12 May at 5pm.
Last year’s Tenant of the Year winner, Liz McKnockiter of Moray Council Tenants’ Forum, said “Winning the Tenant of the Year Award at the TPAS Scotland National Good Practice Awards last year was such an honour. Getting tenants involved in Moray Council to ensure they have their say in things has been a real passion of mine and we are definitely making real progress, so it is fabulous that this was recognised through the Awards. Good luck to everyone entering in 2026!”
