Janet Strang appointed to Vice Chair of the TPAS Scotland Board

This month sees Janet Strang taking up the position of Vice Chair working alongside Calum MacKay (Chair) to ensure the strategy and operations of TPAS Scotland are managed and governed effectively.  Janet has been Board member with TPAS since November 2014 and also sits on the board of Cunningham Housing Association.

Janet commented, “I have enjoyed my time on the Board of TPAS Scotland and have developed a vast knowledge of tenant participation strategies.  This has been invaluable in helping plan the future roadmap for TPAS and help me understand and make changes at Cunningham Housing Association for the work we do with tenants.

I am delighted to be offered the position of Vice Chair and Chair of the Finance Committee and I look forward to working closer with the Board and Elaine Scoular in her new role as interim CEO.  TPAS Scotland are going through some major changes just now and I think it’s a great time to look at how we as a team, both Board and staff, do things while still giving our members the very best service.  Elaine and the team have presented a number of exciting new ideas recently, so it’s an exciting time for us AND for our members.”
